Anyone can use our Computer Center - it's free! Use our typing tutors to learn the computer keyboard or to practice for a typing test.

Labor Market Information

The Career Planning Guide and other labor market resources will provide you with vital information (salary, qualifications, job duties, etc.) about occupations that are in demand in the Coastal Bend Region.

Our Career Center has books, magazines, newsletters, brochures, videos, and more to help you research the job market.

 

Training Information

A list of eligible training providers approved by the State of Texas is available, so you can select an education/training institution that meets your needs.

Job Search Information

Our Career Center staff can give you job search advice such as interviewing tips, and they can direct you to resources that will help make your job search easier and allow you to be more successful with employers.

We have representatives on-site to provide computerized job matching and referral, and you can speak to an Unemployment Benefit Information Specialist by telephone.
